KSCVC Space Race

One Small Step to Build a Stronger Community!

The inaugural Space Race is a two and four-mile walk/run throughout Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex that benefits the United Way of Brevard. Walk or run through the historic Rocket Garden where America’s history in space is revealed, the booster stack that graces the entryway to Space Shuttle Atlantis® and our newest attraction, Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame.

Award winners in each category will receive their award from retired shuttle astronaut Jon McBride. After the race, enjoy a beer or wine in the Rocket Garden at the after-race party.

This family friendly event is open to guests of runners for an additional $2.50 per person.
