India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV), designated PSLV-C51, will launch the Amazônia 1 Earth observation satellite for Brazil. The Brazilian-built spacecraft carries an optical camera to monitor environmental conditions, such as deforestation, in the Amazon region.
